The Best Credit Card Offers Right Now

Not everyone wants a quiz. If you just want to see what’s out there, these are my picks for the 25 best welcome offers you can get today on the cards I review. They’re in my order, not a straight sort by bonus size: I give extra weight to a card whose offer is its best ever, and I take into account how much you have to spend to earn the bonus, how big the annual fee is, and whether it’s waived the first year. Each one links to my full review. If you’d rather have one card picked for you, based on what you already hold and how you travel, the Card Finder does that (and it’s what I use myself).

The best offer you can get, not the one that pays a commission: I don’t take commissions, and there are no affiliate or referral links here. When a landing page, an in-flight application, or a branch beats the bank’s own page, that’s the offer you’ll see, and branch offers are marked anecdotal.

Before You Apply

  • Check the bank’s rules first. Chase’s 5/24 rule, Amex’s once-per-lifetime language, and Citi’s 48-month rule decide whether you can get a bonus at all, and they’re all in my application rules by bank.
  • Is today’s offer a good one? For the premium and most popular cards, the welcome offer history shows every offer since October 2024, so you can tell a normal offer from a great one, and whether it’s worth waiting.
  • Can you hit the spend? Only apply for what you can spend on normally in the time allowed; a bonus is never worth carrying a balance at credit card interest.
  • After year one, a card is worth keeping only if the benefits you’d actually use cover the fee, which is what the premium card calculator works out.

The 25 Best Credit Card Offers

1. American Express Platinum Card: As high as 175,000 points after $12,000

Read my review · $895 annual fee

Current bonus: As high as 175,000 Membership Rewards points after $12,000 in purchases in the first 6 months

Benefits: 5x on flights booked directly with airlines or through Amex Travel (up to $500,000 a year), 5x on prepaid hotels through Amex Travel, 1x elsewhere. $600 hotel credit: up to $300 per half-year on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection stays booked through Amex Travel (Hotel Collection needs 2+ nights). $200 airline fee credit per calendar year, incidental fees only on the one airline you select. $200 Uber Cash: $15 a month plus a $20 bonus in December, U.S. rides and Uber Eats, plus a $120 Uber One membership credit.

Best offer ever: The same 175,000 points needed only $8,000 in spend until February 2026, and “as high as” means Amex shows some applicants less, so check what you’re offered before you accept.

2. Best offer ever Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: 200,000 points after $6,000

Read my review · $550 annual fee

Current bonus: 200,000 Hilton points after $6,000 in purchases in the first 6 months (offer ends January 13, 2027), plus the card’s regular first-year Free Night Reward

Benefits: 14x at Hilton; 7x on flights booked directly with airlines or Amex Travel, car rentals booked directly with select companies, and U.S. restaurants; 3x elsewhere. Free Night Reward in your first year and every renewal, with no points cap; a second after $30,000 and a third after $60,000 in purchases in a calendar year. Automatic Hilton Diamond status. $400 Hilton resort credit: up to $200 per half-year at participating Hilton Resorts, not on prepaid or non-refundable rates.

3. Capital One Venture Rewards: 75,000 miles + $300 travel credit after $4,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 75,000 miles after $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months, plus a one-time $300 Capital One Travel credit for hotels and vacation rentals in the first year

Benefits: 2x on everything; 5x hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars via Capital One Travel; 5x Capital One Entertainment. One-time $300 Capital One Travel Stays credit with the current offer, first year only (hotels and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel; it’s not a yearly credit). Up to $50 experience credit, Wi-Fi and upgrades when available on Lifestyle Collection stays booked through Capital One Travel. Miles transfer to 15+ airline and hotel partners, usually the best use of them.

Best offer ever: Yes, it’s the best public Venture offer of the last two years: the last increase was 75,000 miles plus a $250 travel credit (ended April 13, 2026), and before that 75,000 miles alone. It’s also a better bonus than the Venture X has right now (the same 75,000 miles, without the $300).

4. Best offer ever Citi / AAdvantage Globe Mastercard: 90,000 miles after $5,000

Read my review · $350 annual fee

Current bonus: 90,000 AAdvantage miles after $5,000 in purchases in the first 4 months through a direct Citi link; Citi’s public page shows 60,000 miles after $4,000 in 3 months

Benefits: 3x American Airlines, 6x AAdvantage Hotels, 2x restaurants and rides/transit, 1x elsewhere. $100 Splurge credit per calendar year on up to 2 of 1stDibs, AAdvantage Hotels, Future and Live Nation (not American Airlines or Best Buy). $100 American inflight purchases credit per calendar year. Turo credit: $30 per completed trip, up to $240 a year.

5. Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite (Alaska Airlines): 100,000 points + 25,000-point Global Companion Award after $6,000

Read my review · $395 annual fee

Current bonus: 100,000 points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after $6,000 in purchases in the first 90 days, on Alaska’s Atmos Rewards card page. If $6,000 is more than you’d normally spend, Bank of America’s Summit offer page still shows 80,000 after $4,000, and its regular card page shows 70,000 after $3,000 (all)

Benefits: 3x Alaska and Hawaiian purchases, dining and all foreign purchases; 1x elsewhere; 10% more with a Bank of America account. 25,000-point Global Companion Award every anniversary: up to 25,000 points off a companion’s award ticket in any cabin, on Alaska or partners, only when you both fly on the same award itinerary; a second, 100,000-point award after $60,000 in spending. 8 Alaska Lounge passes a year, 2 per quarter that expire at the end of each quarter; 8 Wi-Fi passes on the same schedule. 10,000 status points each anniversary, plus 1 status point per $2 spent.

Best offer ever: Close, but no. 100,000 is what the card opened with in August 2025 and what it offered again in spring 2026; the best ever was 105,000 by phone with a priority code until January 2026, and the April to June 2026 offer added a 50% off flight discount code (after $6,500).

6. Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard: 80,000 AAdvantage miles after $3,500

Read my review · $99 annual fee ($0 the first year)

Current bonus: 80,000 AAdvantage miles after $3,500 in purchases in the first 4 months, first year’s fee waived, through the in-flight/airport application link (it takes the code 000000) or Citi’s page

Benefits: 2x American Airlines, restaurants and gas, 1x elsewhere; 1 Loyalty Point per mile earned. First checked bag free on domestic American itineraries for you and up to 4 companions on the same reservation. Preferred boarding for you and up to 4 companions; 25% off inflight food and drinks. $125 American Airlines flight discount after $20,000 in purchases in a card year and renewing.

Best offer ever: Close. 80,000 is as many miles as it has offered, but until June 2026 the same 80,000 came with only $1,000 of spend. It’s available through Citi’s in-flight/airport application links (you don’t need to be in the air; the in-flight page takes the code 000000), and Citi’s public link has also shown it.

7. Chase Sapphire Preferred: 75,000 points after $5,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 75,000 points after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months

Benefits: 5x Chase Travel; 3x dining, gas stations, EV charging, select streaming, online grocery and vacation homes at select brands; 2x other travel; 1x elsewhere. $100 hotel credit each account anniversary year on hotel stays booked through Chase Travel, applied automatically. 5x on Lyft through 9/30/2027 and 5x on Peloton equipment over $150 through 12/31/2027. DoorDash: DashPass (through 12/31/2029 if you activate by then) plus a $10 monthly promo on non-restaurant orders.

My advice: A great card to get and keep, since it gives you access to Chase’s transfer partners. The recent Hyatt transfer devaluation stings, though.

Best offer ever: It was 100,000 points after the same $5,000 from June 15 to July 30, 2026, and in spring 2025. A leftover Chase link was reported still showing 100,000 on September 22, 2026, but nobody has confirmed it since, so I don’t count it.

8. United Explorer Card: Up to 90,000 miles after $3,000

Read my review · $150 annual fee ($0 the first year)

Current bonus: 75,000 miles after $3,000 in purchases in the first 3 months, plus 10,000 for adding an authorized user and 5,000 more with a United agent promo code (up to 90,000), through United’s in-flight offer; Chase’s public page shows 70,000 + 10,000

Benefits: 3x on United purchases (9x total on United flights with the miles you earn as a MileagePlus member), 2x dining and hotels booked direct, 1x elsewhere. Free first checked bag for you and one companion on the same reservation, when you buy the ticket with the card and add your MileagePlus number. Two United Club one-time passes each year, plus Group 2 priority boarding. At least 10% off United award prices (15% for Premier members), on United-operated flights only.

Best offer ever: Yes, for the last two years: up to 90,000 miles counting the authorized-user and promo-code bonuses. The best public-page offer was 80,000 miles after $3,000 (until May 2025).

9. Chase Sapphire Reserve: 100,000 points after $6,000

Read my review · $795 annual fee

Current bonus: 100,000 points after $6,000 in purchases in the first 3 months

Benefits: 8x Chase Travel, 4x flights and hotels booked direct, 3x dining, 1x elsewhere. $300 annual travel credit, applied automatically. $500 The Edit hotel credit: two $250 credits on prepaid 2-night stays at The Edit properties booked through Chase Travel. $300 dining credit: $150 per half-year at Exclusive Tables restaurants.

Best offer ever: It was 150,000 points from April 30 to June 15, 2026, and 125,000 from August 2025 to April 2026. Branches were reported offering 125,000 right after June 15, 2026, but there’s been no report since, so I don’t count it.

10. American Express Gold Card: As high as 100,000 points after $8,000

Read my review · $325 annual fee

Current bonus: As high as 100,000 Membership Rewards points after $8,000 in purchases in the first 6 months

Benefits: Top tier: 4x at restaurants worldwide (up to $50,000 a year) and 4x at U.S. supermarkets (up to $25,000 a year), then 1x. 3x on flights booked directly with airlines or through Amex Travel, 5x on prepaid hotels through Amex Travel, 2x on prepaid car rentals and cruises through Amex Travel, 1x elsewhere. $120 Uber Cash: $10 a month for U.S. rides and Uber Eats. $120 dining credit: $10 a month at Grubhub (including Seamless), Five Guys, The Cheesecake Factory, Wonder and Buffalo Wild Wings (enrollment required).

My advice: Great for restaurant and grocery spending for normal people, but the high annual fee makes it marginal at best, even when maxing out the credits.

Best offer ever: Close. 100,000 points is the most it has publicly offered, but until about April 2026 the same 100,000 points needed only $6,000 of spend, and “as high as” means Amex shows some applicants less, so check what you’re offered before you accept.

11. Capital One Venture X Rewards: 75,000 miles after $4,000

Read my review · $395 annual fee

Current bonus: 75,000 miles after $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months

Benefits: 2x on everything; 10x hotels and rental cars and 5x flights and vacation rentals via Capital One Travel; 5x Capital One Entertainment. $300 annual Capital One Travel credit, portal-only (it can be used on Premier and Lifestyle Collection hotels, and you still get those hotels’ perks). 10,000 bonus miles every anniversary. Miles transfer to 15+ airline and hotel partners, usually the best use of them.

My advice: A card you can easily keep once you have it, as long as you use the $300 travel credit, since the extra 10,000 anniversary miles wash out essentially the entire annual fee.

Best offer ever: It was 100,000 miles (after $10,000 in 6 months) from November 2025 to January 5, 2026. The regular Venture currently offers the same 75,000 miles plus a $300 travel credit for a $95 fee.

12. Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card: 130,000 points + free night certificate after $3,000

Read my review · $150 annual fee

Current bonus: 130,000 Hilton points plus a Free Night Reward after $3,000 in purchases in the first 6 months (offer ends January 13, 2027)

Benefits: 12x at Hilton; 6x at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets and U.S. gas stations; 4x on U.S. online retail; 3x elsewhere. $200 Hilton credit: up to $50 per quarter on purchases made directly with a Hilton property (incidentals count only when charged to your room). Automatic Hilton Gold status: 80% bonus on base points and a daily food and beverage credit or continental breakfast (by brand and region); Diamond after $40,000 in a calendar year. Free Night Reward after $15,000 in purchases in a calendar year.

Best offer ever: Close. The high was 155,000 points in 2025 without a free night, and the free night in today’s offer is usually worth more than the 25,000-point difference, so I’d call it about as good.

13. Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card: As high as 80,000 miles + $250 statement credit after $3,000

Read my review · $150 annual fee ($0 the first year)

Current bonus: As high as 80,000 miles plus a $250 statement credit after $3,000 in purchases in the first 6 months on Amex’s page (offer ends November 4, 2026), or a fixed 50,000 miles plus a $500 statement credit (after $3,000 in 6 months and a Delta purchase) that shows up during a dummy booking on delta.com (search a flight and stop at the Trip Summary page; you don’t pay or book anything). Amex shows some people less than 80,000 on its page, so if your number is low, the delta.com version is the better deal

Benefits: 2x on purchases made directly with Delta, at restaurants and at U.S. supermarkets; 1x elsewhere. First checked bag free on Delta flights worldwide, and a second checked bag free on domestic Delta flights. $120 rideshare credit: up to $10 a month on U.S. Uber, Lyft, Curb and Alto rides, starting after your first renewal (enrollment required). $100 Delta Stays credit per calendar year on prepaid hotels and vacation rentals booked through delta.com.

Best offer ever: Close, but no. It was 90,000 miles (no statement credit) until April 2026, and the delta.com dummy-booking version was 60,000 miles plus a $500 statement credit in January 2026 (it’s 50,000 plus $500 today). “As high as” means Amex may show you fewer miles; it tells you the exact number before you accept the card.

14. Launch offer IHG One Rewards Premier Select World Elite Mastercard: Up to 210,000 points after $5,000

Read my review · $350 annual fee

Current bonus: 200,000 points after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months, plus 10,000 points for adding an authorized user (offer valid through November 18, 2026)

Benefits: 12x at IHG hotels (up to 28x with membership and Platinum), 6x dining and other travel including rideshare, 3x elsewhere. Anniversary free night at hotels up to 60,000 points, top up with points for pricier hotels; a second one after $40,000 in a calendar year. $200 airline credit per calendar year after $250 in flights booked directly with any airline, through 12/31/2027. $300 IHG food and beverage credit: $75 per quarter, charged to your room at IHG hotels.

Best offer ever: It’s the launch offer for a card that only came out on October 1, 2026, so there’s nothing to compare it with yet. At roughly half a cent a point, 200,000 points is worth about $1,000 of IHG stays.

15. Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature (Alaska Airlines): 60,000 points after $3,000 + 20,000 more after $5,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: Up to 80,000 points plus a $99 companion fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) on Alaska’s Atmos Rewards card page: 60,000 points after $3,000 in purchases in the first 90 days, plus 20,000 more after $5,000 in total purchases in the same 90 days. If you won’t spend $5,000, Bank of America’s Ascent offer page gives 75,000 after $3,000 instead; the bank’s regular card page shows 50,000 after $1,500 (all)

Benefits: 3x Alaska and Hawaiian purchases; 2x gas, EV charging, cable, streaming and local transit (including rideshare); 1x elsewhere; 10% more with a Bank of America account. Famous Companion Fare each anniversary: a second Saver or Main Cabin seat for $99 plus taxes and fees (from $23), only after $6,000 in purchases in the prior anniversary year. Free first checked bag and preferred boarding for you and up to 6 guests on the same reservation when you pay with the card. 1 status point per $3 spent toward Atmos elite status.

Best offer ever: It was 85,000 points plus the companion fare (after $4,000 in 120 days) until August 2026, and 80,000 points plus the companion fare with a 50% discount code until May 2026.

16. Chase Aer Lingus Visa Signature: 90,000 Avios after $5,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 90,000 Avios after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months through Chase’s limited-time landing page; the regular card page shows 75,000

Benefits: 3x on flights bought directly from Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and LEVEL, 2x hotels booked direct, 1x elsewhere. Economy companion ticket between the U.S. and Ireland after $30,000 in spend in a calendar year, with no taxes or fees on the companion’s ticket. Priority boarding on Aer Lingus U.S.-Ireland flights for you and authorized users. 2,500 bonus Avios every anniversary.

Best offer ever: It was 100,000 Avios in 2025. Chase’s own card page showed 75,000 on October 14, 2026, so the 90,000 offer may depend on the link you apply through.

17. Chase British Airways Visa Signature: 90,000 Avios after $5,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 90,000 Avios after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months through Chase’s limited-time landing page; the regular card page shows 75,000

Benefits: 3x on flights bought directly from British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and LEVEL, 2x hotels booked direct, 1x elsewhere. Award flight credit: $100 (economy or premium economy) or $200 (business or first) per British Airways award booking, up to 3 a year; transatlantic from the U.S. on BA-operated flights only. Travel Together Ticket after $30,000 in spend in a calendar year: a companion on a British Airways, Iberia or Aer Lingus award for no extra Avios, valid two years. 10% off British Airways flights from the U.S. booked through the cardmember link.

Best offer ever: It has been 100,000 Avios after the same $5,000 (in 2025). Chase’s own card page showed 75,000 on October 14, 2026, so the 90,000 offer may depend on the link you apply through.

18. Chase Iberia Visa Signature: 90,000 Avios after $5,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 90,000 Avios after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months through Chase’s limited-time landing page; the regular card page shows 75,000

Benefits: 3x on flights bought directly from Iberia, British Airways, Aer Lingus and LEVEL, 2x hotels booked direct, 1x elsewhere. $1,000 Iberia voucher for two tickets on the same Iberia flight, after $30,000 in spend in a calendar year, valid 12 months. 10% off Iberia fares (not taxes) booked at iberia.com/Chase10, for up to nine passengers. 2,500 bonus Avios every anniversary.

Best offer ever: It was 100,000 Avios in 2025. Chase’s own card page showed 75,000 on October 14, 2026, so the 90,000 offer may depend on the link you apply through.

19. Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card: Three 50,000-point free night certificates + $100 airfare credit after $3,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 3 Free Night Awards (each at a hotel up to 50,000 points a night) after $3,000 in purchases in the first 3 months, plus up to $100 in airline statement credits

Benefits: Free Night Award up to 35,000 points every account anniversary (resort fees still apply). 6x at Marriott hotels (up to 17x with member and Silver points), 3x on grocery, gas and dining on the first $6,000 a year combined, 2x elsewhere. Up to $100 in airline credits: $50 after $250 in direct airline purchases in each half-year window, through 6/30/2027 for new cardmembers. Automatic Silver Elite status, 15 Elite Night Credits a year plus 1 per $5,000 spent, and Gold status after $35,000 in a calendar year.

Best offer ever: Until March 2026 it was five 50,000-point free nights plus the $100 airline credit, the best this card has had, so if you’re not in a hurry it may be worth waiting for that to come back.

20. Delta SkyMiles Platinum American Express Card: As high as 90,000 miles + $300 statement credit after $4,000

Read my review · $350 annual fee

Current bonus: As high as 90,000 miles plus a $300 statement credit after $4,000 in purchases in the first 6 months (offer ends November 4, 2026)

Benefits: 3x on purchases made directly with Delta and directly with hotels; 2x at restaurants and U.S. supermarkets; 1x elsewhere. Companion certificate each year after renewal: a second round-trip Delta Main Cabin ticket within the U.S., Caribbean or Central America, you pay only the taxes and fees ($22 to $250). $150 Delta Stays credit per calendar year on prepaid hotels booked through delta.com. $120 Resy credit: up to $10 a month at U.S. Resy restaurants (enrollment required).

Best offer ever: Close to it. In early and mid-2026 it reached 100,000 miles, but in two steps that needed $6,000 of spend, and the 90,000-mile offers before this one didn’t include the $300 credit. “As high as” means Amex may show you fewer miles; it tells you the exact number before you accept the card.

21. Citi Strata Premier (formerly Citi Premier): 60,000 points after $4,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 60,000 points after $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months

Benefits: 3x restaurants, supermarkets, gas and EV charging, air travel and other hotels; 10x hotels, cars and attractions via Citi Travel; 1x elsewhere. $100 off one hotel stay of $500 or more (before taxes and fees) once per calendar year, booked through Citi Travel. The Reserve by Citi Travel hotel perks: $100 experience credit, breakfast for two and upgrades when available on Reserve rates. Points transfer to American Airlines AAdvantage at 1:1 plus Flying Blue, Singapore, Qatar Avios, Turkish, Virgin Atlantic, JAL and more.

Best offer ever: It has been 75,000 points (in 2025), and since Citi’s bonus is now once per lifetime on this card, the size of the offer you take matters more than it used to.

22. Citi Strata Elite: 75,000 points after $6,000

Read my review · $595 annual fee

Current bonus: 75,000 points after $6,000 in purchases in the first 3 months

Benefits: 6x at restaurants on Friday and Saturday nights (6 PM to 6 AM ET), 3x restaurants otherwise, 1.5x on everything else. 12x hotels, cars and attractions and 6x flights via Citi Travel. $300 off one hotel stay of 2+ nights per calendar year, booked through Citi Travel. $200 Splurge credit per calendar year at up to 2 brands you activate: American Airlines, Best Buy, Live Nation, 1stDibs or Future.

Best offer ever: It was 100,000 points (after $6,000 in 3 months) until about February 2026, and since the bonus is now once per lifetime, I’d wait for that to come back if you can.

23. Wells Fargo Autograph Journey: 60,000 points after $4,000

Read my review · $95 annual fee

Current bonus: 60,000 points after $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months

Benefits: 5x hotels, 4x airlines, 3x restaurants and other travel (car rentals, cruises, travel agencies, campgrounds), 1x elsewhere; no caps and no portal needed. $50 airline credit once a year after a single $50+ purchase directly with an airline. Points transfer to 10 partners: Flying Blue, British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Avianca, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Atlantic and JetBlue at 1:1, and Choice and Wyndham at 1:2. Cell phone protection up to $1,000 per claim ($25 deductible) when you pay your phone bill with the card.

Best offer ever: It’s the standard public offer. Cardholders also report an anecdotal 100,000-point offer in branch for Wells Fargo Premier customers (not advertised, your mileage may vary), so if you bank there at that level, ask first. Online, the 60,000 above is the best.

24. JetBlue Plus Mastercard: 75,000 points after $1,000

Read my review · $99 annual fee

Current bonus: 75,000 points after $1,000 in purchases and paying the $99 annual fee, both within the first 90 days, through JetBlue’s in-flight application page; Barclays’ own page shows 70,000

Benefits: Top tier: 6x on JetBlue purchases, the highest own-airline rate of the airline cards I review (the next best is 4x); 2x restaurants and eligible grocery stores, 1x elsewhere. Free first checked bag for you and up to 3 companions on the same itinerary, JetBlue-operated flights only (codeshares and partner flights don’t count). 5,000 bonus points every account anniversary. 10% of your points back after you redeem for and fly a JetBlue-operated award flight.

Best offer ever: No, but it’s close for the spend. It was 100,000 points in 2020–21 (50,000 after $1,000, plus 50,000 more after $6,000 in a year) and 80,000 in 2025 (60,000 plus 20,000 after $6,000 in a year). For only $1,000 of spend, 75,000 is about as good as it has been. Barclays’ own page currently shows 70,000; the 75,000 version is on JetBlue’s in-flight page.

25. Lufthansa Miles & More World Elite Mastercard (Barclays): 70,000 miles after $4,000

Read my review · $89 annual fee

Current bonus: 70,000 miles after $4,000 in purchases and paying the $89 annual fee, both within the first 90 days

Benefits: 2x on tickets bought directly from Miles & More integrated airlines (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, Brussels and others), 1x on everything else. A Companion Ticket after each account anniversary (taxes and fees apply). Two Lufthansa Business Lounge vouchers each year (single visits, not a membership).
